There isn’t a set answer unfortunately. Tree pruning frequency really depends on the tree and what you want out of it.
A Yew cut into the shape of a lion? Once a year at least.
A big Birch in the middle of a forest? Ideally never.

Absolutely not. It all comes down to the tree and where it is.
All trees vary on their tolerance of pruning, some respond excellently (Willow), others not so much (Birch).
There’s no fixed price for a removal, we’ve taken out a tree for £20 (it was tiny) and we’ve taken out a tree for £3500 (it was much bigger). It all depends on the tree, the access and waste.
If you own the tree. Then all that matters is whether it has a TPO (Tree Protection Order) or if it’s in a Conservation Area. Which you can find out on the council website but we always check too.

Of course! It’s your tree. Plus it often works out cheaper for you. Just let us know at the quoting stage.
We reuse everything but the scrapings up at the end. The woodchip goes to either local allotments or for biomass. The timber goes for firewood, some to the stoves of our team and the rest to Teds Logs to be split and dried.
We are extremely good above ground but out of depth as soon as we go below. Instead we work alongside Sean at Vale Stump Grinders
